Cnoc Meadha-jic is a multimedia showcase which explores the theme of sustainable communities through the dynamic and magical community that flourishes not too far from the foot of Cnoc Meadha. The central hub is Campbell's Tavern and the Cloughanover Community Centre, 16 miles from Galway City.
Cnoc Meadha-jic celebrates the collective work of local groups including Cloughanover Community Centre under the stewardship of Mattie Scales, Solstice Arts Group; Play Guitar; Mairead Berrill’s Music programmes for local schools; the Bombanova Social Club; na Sean chairde; the Cloughanover Rock School; Guitar-Made-Easy; Headford Country Market, Calabria Youth Club, Luimnagh Village Book Club and an array of local community associations, artists and individuals working to keep the area alive and flourishing.
